Program Description

ASHRAE 90.1 defines continuous as insulation that is continuous across all structural members without thermal bridges other than fasteners and service openings. It is installed on the interior or exterior of it integral to any opaque surface of the building envelope. If z-furring is used, the insulation will not be continuous. Learn how to attach exterior veneers without creating thermal bridges to meet the new energy code requirements of continuous insulation.

This program qualifies for 1.0 hour AIA HSW/SD Continuing Education credit.
