The American Institute of Architects (AIA) formed the national Producer’s Council in the late 1920s as a means of answering a growing need among architects for technical product information and related design assistance. This new organization brings a new focus and desire to provide value to our members and to the Architectural and Design community. We will provide the, well known, “STICK” programs that are an avenue for our members, who are product and installation experts to provide educational seminars on products, systems, and services, to Architects, Specifiers, Engineers, and Designers. We want to be much more than just a scheduler for lunch presentations. We see that we can partner with construction and design professionals to create synergies to ensure the right and best products and systems are detailed and specified in construction projects. We will also seek out opportunities to provide trade shows, promotional events, and scholarship programs through the AIA.
