You can schedule your STICK lunch programs for 2012 online now!

Dear members of the design community,
Back in 1920 the American Institute of Architects identified a growing need for technical product information and related design assistance. In response to the need, AIA formed the national Producer’s Council. We recognize the need for open communication and a chance to provide value to the design community and our members. In the following paragraphs you will find information regarding how to sign up for the STICK lunch program at rmproducerscouncil.org, value added programs, and associate membership in RMPC.

STICK Lunch Program
One of the areas we have all become accustomed to Producer’s Council having an influence is in the “STICK” programs offered each year. The "STICK" acronym stands for Save Time In Collecting Knowledge. This program includes a variety of educational lunchtime seminars conducted by experts in their industry. Most of these programs offer continuing education credit (CEU, HSW, or SD). You can access all of the programs offered for 2012 from the home page of our newly created website- programs are listed both as a full group and by CSI category (rmproducerscouncil.org). Each of the programs listed on the main page gives a short description of the program and the presenting company. For a full description, click on the title of the program.. At either place, you can add this program to your cart. It is important to note that all programs offered by the Producer’s Council are free of charge. When adding a program, we would like to know approximately how many people will be in attendance as well as if there is a specific date or day of the week you would like to schedule. This website has been built on an e-commerce platform and will allow you to select programs and put them in your cart, as well as to check out and give us your “Billing Address” and information. Rest assured that there are no charges for these programs, this platform has just given us the best opportunity to provide these programs in an easy to access online sign-up format. You can access this website at rmproducerscouncil.org. Please sign up quickly so that the programs you would like to have presented to you will be available when you would like them taught. If you have any trouble or questions, feel free to use the Contact Us page and send us a question or comment or contact our board through the About US page.

Value Added Programs
In addition to STICK lunches, RMPC has much added value for the design community. Our membership has decided that it is important for us to give back to the design community by awarding annual scholarships for design students. We also feel it important to participate in AIA as a professional affiliate. We hope to create events in outlying areas with programs that offer learning credits and continuing education. We will also look at opportunities to create special events such as golf, sporting clays, and other networking activities.

Associate Membership
We invite the design community to participate in RMPC through membership as we have an Associate Membership for Architects, Designers, and Engineers. This will give you the opportunity to be involved in ensuring RMPC meets the design community’s needs. Associate Membership is only $100 per year. For those who sign up right away, we are offering introductory memberships for 2012 at 50% off. But to take advantage of the offer you must sign up before January 1st. We are committed to give back to the community and have decided that all money raised in Associate Membership dues will be added to the scholarship fund for design students. Please feel free to let us know of your interest by contacting us through the website or at the following contact addresses:
Nancy Partridge, Executive Director, RMPC npartridge@rmproducerscouncil.org ph. 303.893-3838
Gordon Lundell, President, RMPC glundell@rmproducerscouncil.org ph. 303.356.2687

We are excited to provide you with this opportunity to join RMPC and create an organization that has the desired credentials to meet the needs of the design community. We look forward to working with you and welcome all your comments and suggestions as we kick off another great year.
